FUN, FOOD, AND A SPECTACLE OF LIFE AND LAUGHTER

25th November 2023, in its full glory, was one of the most memorable and much-awaited days of the year. It was the day of the wonderfully joyous Annual Children’s Day Fete at The Asian Acres, inaugurated by Mrs. Ruchi Pradhan Datta, the Principal of the Asian School.

The Asianites along with their friends, family and students from other schools came in multitudes. All age groups chimed in for a relaxing few hours to have a fun and carefree time. The wide array of snackage piqued common interest as multiple big outlets from the Doon City served all sorts of cakes, pizzas, pasta, coffee, and mocktails.

The request corner and the game stalls proved to be the major centre of attention. Many students tested their skills off in an attempt to get their hands on some goodies. A good number and a vast assortment of songs were played throughout the day as the students bopped their heads along and throbbed to the musical beats. Multiple rides like the Giant Wheel and the Columbus ride attracted a great number of students. The whole school tapped its feet at the jam session.

The lucky draw contest offered an expansive range of attractive gifts such as an electric bicycle, gift vouchers, gift hampers, electronics, and many more. People longed eagerly for the announcement of the results to know the winners. The first prize, an Electric Bicycle was won by Shalini Nishad, class XII D. Akarsh Anand of class VI D won a 50-inch LED TV as the second prize and the third prize, a Cricket Kit, was bagged by class Garima Singh Patel of class XI D. The award for the best decorated stalls went to stall no. 09 and 10 and was jointly shared by Ms. Seema Bhatt, Ms. Manju Rautela, Ms. Himani Negi and Ms. Aayushi.

This festival of elation was attended by members of the School Management, Head Senior School, Mr Mukesh Nangia, Headmistress Ms Prachi Mehrotra, Dy. Head Junior School, Ms. Surbhi Narula and all the staff members of The Asian School.

The event was a great success and worth cherishing.
