Staff vs Students Basketball Match Showcases Sportsmanship at The Asian School
The Asian School hosted an exhilarating Staff vs Students Basketball Match over the weekend, marked by intense competition, enthusiasm and exemplary team spirit. The Class XII Students’ Team, led by Naman Saini, put up a spirited and commendable performance against the Staff Team, captained by Mr. Pratap Chand Rangra.
The closely contested match concluded with the Staff Team securing victory by a narrow margin of three points, reflecting the high level of skill, determination, and sportsmanship displayed by both sides. Naman Saini emerged as the highest scorer of the match with an impressive 48 points, showcasing exceptional talent and leadership on the court.
In recognition of outstanding performances, Naman Saini was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) from the Students’ side, while Mr. Amal Rai received the MVP award from the Staff Team. The title of Most Promising Player was conferred upon Mr. Himanshu Panwar from the Staff Team for his impressive performance.
The match was witnessed by school dignitaries, staff members, and students, who cheered enthusiastically throughout, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and camaraderie. The event concluded on a celebratory note with a cake-cutting ceremony led by the Principal, Mrs. Ruchi Pradhan Datta, reinforcing the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and mutual respect that defines The Asian School.
