Independence Day Celebration At The Asian School

On 15th August 2023, The Asian School commemorated the 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm.


The entire school was decorated with balloons and flowers, scattering the hues of the tricolor.
The programme commenced with flag hoisting by the Principal, followed by the national anthem. A zestful cultural programme followed by including motivating speeches in Hindi and English was performed by the students. Taking the soil of the nation in their hand the entire school family took the panch pran pledge as a integral part of “MERI MAATTI MERA DESH” campaign. Students in the school choir, in their melodious voices sang patriotic songs that aroused feelings of patriotism among all present.

The Principal in her address to the students paid homage to our great freedom fighters and all other unsung heroes who sacrificed their lives and won us our freedom. She urged the students to be an Indian in the true spirit and a true Asianite too and uphold good values, develop independent thoughts and respect for each other. She concluded by saying that ‘our flag does not fly because the wind moves it, it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.’ The program culminated with the distribution of sweets among the students.

Several inter house & interclass competitions were held in the school, in which the students participated with much zeal and enthusiasm.

  • Decoration of House Board: Ranjeet House

For Middle School:-

  • Clay & Tissue Craft (Class VI): Shivaji House
  • Wall Hangings (Class VII): Shivaji House
  • Coaster Making (Class VIII): Ashoka House

For Senior School:-

  • Rangoli Competition: Arjun House
  • Soccer Match (Students V/s Staff): Staff won the match
