It is a question of great concern when it comes to choosing the right kind of school board for your child. There has always been a constant battle between choosing the best CBSE schools or state board schools for your ward. This is a matter of great importance since it determines what your child’s future is gonna look like 10 years from now. Your actions that you will take today will impact the future. 

Since the CBSE board is concept-oriented white state board is more memorization oriented. So, we have to understand the difference between the two. 

Difference Between CBSE vs State Board Education:

The best CBSE schools have English as a medium of instruction from junior classes whereas the state boards introduce the English language after some time when the students get admitted to senior classes like 9th grade. Therefore, studying abroad might be challenging to e state bard students.   

Now that we are well aware of the understanding of the difference between the two, we can say that the CBSE board is more advantageous than the State board. 

This doesn’t mean that the state board is less competent. Many students who want to opt for civil services tend to choose the state board and the students who come from comparatively less economic areas, opt for this board.

  • Many choices are not available
  • Complex in nature
  • More competition in assessment 
  • A large number of students enrolled reduces the quality of learning 

State Board Advantages And Disadvantages:

Advantages 

  • Less costly 
  • The curriculum is relevant to the student’s culture 
  • Beneficial for those pursuing civil services
  • Less number of students enrolled 

Disadvantages 

  • Uses outdated teaching methods 
  • The teaching quality is not upto the mark
