APRIL 13 2011- Celebrated Yellow day.
Children came dressed up in yellow dresses They even brought
something yellow to eat in their Tiffins.
Children were told about “Baisakhi” i.e. why do we celebrate
Baisakhi.
Activities done in the class on the same day is given below-
Class Play group – Mangoes with thumb impression.
Class L.K.G. - Sun flower – decorated with glitter.
Class U.K.G. - Sun made of golden paper and yellow strows.

APRIL 18 2011- Colouring competition.
Children did colouring by using colours of their own choice. They
all enjoyed colouring Ice-creams, Butterflies and scenery.

APRIL 22 2011- The Earth Day.
Children were told about the importance and values of trees,
cleanliness etc. Following points to save the earth were introduced
to the children-
1. Always throw litter in the dustbin.
2. Do not pluck leaves or cut trees.
3. Grow more trees.
Activities related to Earth day were also done by the pre primary
section.

APRIL 12 2011- Workshop by Niharika
Nautiyal wherein girls of class III onwards took tips on Bharat
Natyam.

APRIL 16 2011- Tejkaran Singh Chawla and
Sagar Nandal of class XII won the third prize in the Inter school
quiz competition.
