Uttarakhand, February 5, 2024 – The DPSG School hosted the Uttarakhand Yuva Sansad Model United Nations (UYSMUN) on February 3rd and 4th, welcoming 28 students from diverse educational backgrounds. This dynamic event provided a platform for participants to hone leadership skills, engage in global issues, and foster diplomatic dialogue.
UYSMUN emphasized the importance of preparing youth for the complexities of the future global landscape. Through simulated United Nations sessions, students developed crucial skills in research, public speaking, and problem-solving.
The conference concluded with The Asian School clinching the coveted Best Delegation Award, while individuals such as Madhav Goel & Rudraksh Purohit received honorary mentions for their outstanding contributions. Arya Jaiswal bagged the awards for Best photographer & journalist. Uttarakhand Yuva Sansad Model United Nations 2024 not only enriched participants’ knowledge of world affairs but also empowered them to become effective global citizens.
