The Asian School, Dehradun organized an Inter- Class Science Quiz on 28 February 2024 on the occasion of National Science Day. This event was organized with the aim of increasing student’s interest and awareness in science and its concepts.
The students were divided into five teams of four students each. These teams were named after the prestigious scientific institutes of India – ISRO, BARC, WII, DRDO and FRI. The format of the quiz consisted of six rounds- Warm Up, Know Your Subject, Double Trouble; Riddle me, Dumb and Dumber and Rapid Fire.
Alongwith the quiz the school also held a Science Exhibition from 24- 28 February 2024. The students of Junior and Middle Wings participated enthusiastically and showcased charts, experiments and models which were developed by the students themselves under the able guidance of their science teacher.
The chief guests on the occasion were Mrs. Ruchi Pradhan Datta, Principal, The Asian School, Ms. Prachi Mehrotra, Headmistress and Director Academics. Ms. Vartika Sah Juneja.
At the end of the programme the Principal congratulated the participants and the Science Department at the incredible success of the event.
