Harela festival, which is being celebrated today on 17th July, 2023, is one of the special festivals of the Kumaon region in Uttarakhand and it promotes the importance of the environment and the need for its conservation. The occasion did not go unnoticed at our school too and was marked by tree plantation in the campus. Our little ones of classes 1 to 5 here at ‘The Asian School ‘ expressed their gratitude towards mother nature by planting trees and taking the pledge to save the environment. They were accompanied by our worthy Principal- Ms. Ruchi Pradhan Dutta and the Dean of Activities – Ms Shweta Matta.
