The Asian School campus transformed into a vibrant hub of joy and festivity as the much-anticipated Annual Children’s Day Fete unfolded at The Asian Acres. Inaugurated by the Principal, Mrs. Ruchi Pradhan Datta, the event was a resounding success, attracting students, families, and friends in large numbers.
Renowned eateries from across Dehradun presented an array of irresistible culinary delights, from decadent cakes and pizzas to flavorful milkshakes and refreshing mocktails, catering to every palate. The fete also featured an engaging request corner and exciting game stalls, where students enthusiastically competed for attractive prizes.
The highlight of the day was the eagerly awaited lucky draw contest. Nitpreet Bhatia of class IX clinched the grand first prize, a Honda Shine Bike. The second prize, an electric bicycle, was awarded Anvishita Yadav of class XII, while the third prize, a laptop, went to Jigmet Chosma of class VIII.
Adding to the festive atmosphere were thrilling rides like the Giant Wheel and Columbus, an electrifying jam session, and lively music that got everyone dancing with joy. The award for the best-decorated stall was presented to Ms. Seema Bhatt (Stall No. 17, Burger Singh) for the captivating and creative designs.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the school community, including The Director Mr. Gaganjot Juneja and Mrs. Vartika Shah Juneja, Head Senior School, Mr. Mukesh Nangia, Head Middle School, Mr. Sachin Agarwal , Deputy Head Junior School, Ms. Surbhi Narula, Dean of Activities, Mrs. Shweta Matta and the entire staff of The Asian School. This joyous celebration of camaraderie and elation will remain etched in the hearts of Asianites and their families, making it a day to cherish forever.
The Science Exhibition explored AI Brain vs Chemical Brain and the Application of AI in Chemistry, where students demonstrated experiments like Artificial Snow, Elephant’s Toothpaste, Distillation of Water, Traffic Signal Light, and Hydroelectric Dam Models, blending scientific curiosity with innovation. The Psychology Exhibition highlighted that AI is a powerful tool but should never make humans feel inferior. Through studies like CBT applications and Suprachiasmatic Nucleus research, students demonstrated how AI can support mental health while the human brain remains the true master of creativity, emotion, and empathy.
The Hindi Exhibition connected the theme to the wisdom of the Vedas, while the Commerce Exhibition showcased the harmonious collaboration between human and artificial intelligence in shaping modern industries. The IT Department impressed visitors with interactive models demonstrating Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, and AI Decision-Making, while emphasizing the uniqueness of human creativity and critical thinking.
The Exhibition and Book Fair 2025 was a true celebration of intellect, imagination, and innovation — reflecting the school’s motto, “Higher, Stronger, Brighter.
