The Asian School, Dehradun, hosted a vibrant Book Fair organized by the National Book Depot from 14th to 16th October 2025, inaugurated by the Principal, Mrs. Ruchi Pradhan Datta. The fair offered a wide range of books, attracting avid readers from all grades.
The much-awaited Annual Exhibition was held on 16th October 2025 on the theme “The Battle of Intelligences: Human vs Artificial.” The Chief Guests for the event were Dr. Shalini Suri, a renowned radiologist at Suri Diagnostics, and Dr. Seema Avtar, an eminent pathologist at Synergy Institute of Medical Sciences. Each department presented creative and intellectually stimulating exhibits in harmony with the central theme.
The English Exhibition featured innovative models such as The Neural Network “Black Box,” Facial Recognition Layers, Augmented Perception, and Collaborative Intelligence, reflecting the synergy and contrast between human and artificial cognition. The Mathematics Exhibition, based on the sub-theme “Battlefield: AI vs Human Brain,” emphasized that while AI excels in computation, it lacks the depth of human creativity and emotion. It included engaging corners on Numerology, Vedic Maths, Puzzles, and Working Models that promoted experiential learning.
The Science Exhibition explored AI Brain vs Chemical Brain and the Application of AI in Chemistry, where students demonstrated experiments like Artificial Snow, Elephant’s Toothpaste, Distillation of Water, Traffic Signal Light, and Hydroelectric Dam Models, blending scientific curiosity with innovation. The Psychology Exhibition highlighted that AI is a powerful tool but should never make humans feel inferior. Through studies like CBT applications and Suprachiasmatic Nucleus research, students demonstrated how AI can support mental health while the human brain remains the true master of creativity, emotion, and empathy.
The Hindi Exhibition connected the theme to the wisdom of the Vedas, while the Commerce Exhibition showcased the harmonious collaboration between human and artificial intelligence in shaping modern industries. The IT Department impressed visitors with interactive models demonstrating Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, and AI Decision-Making, while emphasizing the uniqueness of human creativity and critical thinking.
The Exhibition and Book Fair 2025 was a true celebration of intellect, imagination, and innovation — reflecting the school’s motto, “Higher, Stronger, Brighter.
