On the occasion of Universal Children’s Day, the bright sunny Sunday morning of 20 th November 2022
witnessed the much awaited event, the grand and fantastic Annual Fete at The Asian Acres, which was
inaugurated by the Principal, The Asian School, Ms. Ruchi Pradhan Datta.
The Fete offered all age-groups a great opportunity to have fun, frolic, a reason to smile, relax and
unwind. The Asianites along with their family members and students from different schools came in
multitudes to be a part of this fun and food extravaganza. There were a large number of stalls, offering
savoury food items, cakes, pastry, coffee, pizza and mocktails from various Dun city eating joints.
Game stalls attracted a large crowd and offered an opportunity to students to showcase their talent
and skill and win goodies.
The request corner as the centre of attraction played a good number of songs on demand which made
the school grounds throb to the musical beats. Rides such as the giant wheel and roller coaster were
also available for the students to enjoy and have fun. The jam session gave an opportunity to the
students to tap their feet.
The lucky draw offered a wide range of attractive gifts such as Electric cycle, Lap top, Sony Bravia
Television, Whirlpool Washing Machine and many more. People with eager hearts longed to know the
names of the winners. The first prize, an Electric cycle was won by Bhartesh Singh, Class V D ,
Ghanshyam Chopra, Class VIII B won a lap top which was the second prize and the third prize a
Television set was won by Alina Khan, class V D.
The award for the best decorated stalls went to stall no. 12 & 13 and was jointly shared by Ms. Seema
Bhatt & Ms. Manju Rautela and Ms. Anju Chaudhary & Ms. Chitra Pandey.
The fete was attended by Vice President, Mr. Madanjeet Singh, Head Senior School, Mr. Mukesh
Nangia, Dy. Head Junior School, Ms. Surbhi Narula and all the staff members of The Asian School.
Everyone seemed to enjoy and have fun. The event was a great success and memorable one.
